Fresh from a proud showing for country in the ongoing 2020 African Nations Championship in Cameroon, 21-year old Burkina Faso forward Hamed Belem has joined Algerian giants USM Alger on a two and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The midfielder completed the switch on Sunday from Burkina Faso side FC Rahimo.
The native of Bobo Dioulasso is therefore set to begin a new life of professional football abroad havin spent the early days of his career back at home.
Hamed Belem caught the attention of many during the CHAN 2020 as he worked wonders in the heart of the Burkina Faso midfield winning the man of the match award on the occasion of his side’s goalless draw against host Cameroon in their last game of the tournament.
USM Alger is therefore his next workplace for the next 30 months everything being equal.
