Morocco has gone through to the quarter finals level with 7 points in 3 games.

First Half:

Morocco immediately took the lead at kick-off, defending their title as champions. Seconds after kick-starting they made a quick attempt but were unproductive.

Dominating most of the play time, The Atlas Lions within 12 minutes got hold of the ball, Soufiane Rahimi face to face with goalkeeper Charles Lukwago of Uganda, a corner was the end product.

The Cranes recuperated play, one, two passes head forward good kick from Saidi Kyeyune, not enough to help out.

A win was the target for The Cranes. 25 minutes into the first segment, they took the lead and through a hard shot from Ibrahim Orit which went pass goalkeeper Anas Zniti, Uganda had a goal.

An opportunity came knocking for Morocco to change the scoreboard. Ayoub El Kaabi went for it but only increased the level of frustration of Moroccan fans.
