Congo Republic CHAN 2020 squad has arrived Cameroon via the Douala International this Thursday for the 2020 African Nations Championship.
Congo qualified for the Africa Nations Championship at the expense of Equatorial Guinea. The game ended on an aggregate scoreline of 2-2 after Equatorial Guinea won the first encounter by 2 goals to 1, and Congo beat Equatorial Guinea 1 goal to 0 in the second leg. Congo qualified on the away goal rule to continue their aspirations of winning the CHAN title.
They are in Pool B of the tournament alongside DR Congo, Libya and Niger. They were welcomed by their fans at the airport.
The Congolese side will open their campaign on Sunday 17th January, 2021 against DR Congo at 8pm Local Time in a local derby.
They’ll then take on Niger Republic Thursday 21st January 2021 before playing their last group game against Libya on Monday 25th January, 2021.
All their games will played at Japoma Stadium in Douala Cameroon.
