With preparations ongoing for the start of the 6th edition of the Africa Nations Championship, CHAN, the Chipolopolo of Zambia have played out a 1-1 draw against Libya, another team participating at the CHAN.
The game took place at the Japoma Annex stadium in Douala as the two teams have been in the country for a while now.
Zambia opened the scoring at the 75th minute of play through a well-struck low shot from Paul Katema.
The Zambians then looked to get a second goal and kill the game off as striker Albert Kangwanda came close to scoring. Unfortunately for him, his shot just went narrowly wide.
With that miss, the Libyans then took control of the game as they looked for an equalizer. They finally got it at the 89 minutes of play through a brilliant effort, bringing the game to 1-1 between the two sides, and that is how the game ended.
