Sudanese Premier League side El Merreikh have completed the signing of local Uganda Cranes midfielder Saidi Kyeyune.
Both parties confirmed the move on Sunday when El Merreikh took to Twitter to announce the capture of the 28-year old from Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URAFC).

Saidi was Uganda’s best performer during their abrupt outing in the ongoing African Nations Championship. Though the Cranes campaign ended abruptly after just three games the midfielder was impressive, scoring twice with great strikes against Togo and Morocco.
He joins compatriot Salim Jamal on the books of the Sudanese Club.
El Merreikh are regular title contenders in the Sudanese Premier League and currently occupy the 3rd spot on the log with 14 points from their opening six games of the 2020-2021 season.
Playing abroad is a whole new experience for the three-capped Uganda Cranes midfielder.
