Tanzanian Premier League giants Simba SC have completed the signing of 27-year-old center-back Pater Muduwa from Zimbabwe Premier League side Highlanders FC.
The Club confirmed the player’s acquisition via a post on their website and kick442.com understands Pater has joined the Club on a two-and-a half year deal.
The experienced sweeper was a part of the Zimbabwe team that participated and suffered early elimination from the ongoing African Nations Championship in Cameroon.
The player caught the attention of many over the course of the tournament but Simba out muscled other interested parties to sign the player.
Pater Muduwa joins a handful of players who have secured switches to new Clubs post their participation in the CHAN 2020 tournament.
Uganda’s Saidi Kyeyune, Hamed Belem and others have already secured new contracts after their brilliant outings at the tournament.
