Six games into the 2020 African Nations Championship in Cameroon, the scorers Classification table is already taking shape with nine players in the race for the golden boots award.
So far, just Guinea’s Gnagna has scored more than once in the goal shy tournament with just nine goals overall.
The scorers chart is as follows:

Gnagna Yakhouba – Guinea

Morlaye Sylla-Guinea
Collins Sikombe – Zambia
Emmanuel Chabula- Zambia
Solomon Banga – Cameroon
Yahya Jabrane- Morocco
Chico Ushindi Wakubanza- DR Congo
Siaka Bagayoko Chato-Mali
These players have distinguished themselves from their mates in match-day one by scoring for their national selections.
Morocco’s Ayoub El who finished lead scorer in the 2018 tournament with nine goals is participating in the current tournament but yet to get off the mark.
Matchday two fixtures will certainly provide new names on the scorers chart and movements on the scorers classification table.
Ayoub is the record scorer in the previous five editions of the tournament with nine goals scored in 2018.
