The local Amavubis of Rwanda have arrived Cameroon ahead of Monday’s CHAN 2020 Preparations friendly against the intermediate Lions of Cameroon.
Cameroon ended their one week stay in Congo and hooked up with the Rwanda team at the Maya Maya international Airport in Brazzaville.
Both sides arrived the Douala International Airport just after 2PM on Friday.
They traveled to Yaounde for the game to be played at 4PM local time this Monday.
Monday’s game will be the fourth international friendly for Yves Clement Arroga’s boys as they continue to prepare for the African Nations Championship on home soil.
Rwanda are also in the competition. They face holders Morocco, debutants Togo and neighbors Uganda in the group stage of the competition while Cameroon open their competition against Zimbabwe on April 4th before facing Mali and Burkina Faso later in the tournament.
The Rwanda delegation will return home after the game for their next friendly game against Congo Republic on the 28th of February in Kigali.
