Ahead of a thrilling West African derby between the National Elephants of Guinea and The Eagles of Mali, the Malians have all test negative of the coronavirus.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been a thread to the success of some teams in the tournament. Some players, and coaches have had to missed some games as a result of being COVID-19 positive.
Fortunately for coach Nouhoum Diane and his Malian boys, none is positive after a test done. This therefore implies that Mali is in full form ready to face Guinean opponent in the Japoma Stadium in Douala this Wednesday 3, February 2021.
A win today for either side is a guarantee for a place in the final come February 7, 2021 in Yaounde’s Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.
