AS Futuro’s forward Joseph Yannick Ndjeng has been excluded from Intermediate Lions Squad for the rest of the tournament.
The 30-year-old striker who has been on two consecutive starting line-ups for the lions has been excluded on claims of characterized indiscipline.
Much was expected from him during the game pitting Cameroon against Morocco but he failed to deliver. He was later substituted which did not seem satisfactory to the Future man.
Yannick Ndjeng will miss the battle for a third place in the on-going African Nations Championship CHAN 2020 where Cameroon will play against the National Elephants of Guinea, Saturday February 6, 2021.
Ndjeng was very productive in Cameroon’s victory over DR Congo coming in with an equaliser within 24 minutes of play then a winning goal from Felix Oukine.
