Lone scorer for the Intermediate lions of Cameroon who doubles as one of the captains for coach Martin Ndtoungoun’s team, will want to have another goal penmed against his name while facing the Leopards.
The two times scorer for Intermediate lions during a press conference said he will maintain his position as central defender, but if there is a chance for him to score, he will make use as was in the case of the past encounters.
“I am a central defender though I score. I will not say I must score, but if I have the opportunity like the past matches I will make use of it. But if not, we continue to play the game.”
Banga has scored twice for the Lions, the lone goal against Zimbabwe during CHAN opener at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium and against the Eagles of Mali on matchday two.
The encounter against DR Congo Saturday January 30, 2021 in Japoma Stadium, may serve as an opportunity for the 25-year-old to make it three or more.
