Recently reinstated Malagasy CAF President Ahmad Ahmad has made his way into CHAN host country Cameroon ahead of the African Nations Championship CHAN 2020 finals.
He was received by CAF Vice President who has been in Cameroon Constant Omari, FECAFOOT’s President Prince Seidou Mbombo Njoya and other dignitaries this Friday February 5, 2021.
His coming to Cameroon will mark the end of the continental jamboree finals to be played in at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde, Sunday 7 February 2021, pitting Mali against Morocco.
Ahmad Ahmad was recently reinstated as CAF President by Court of Arbitration for Sports after claims of mismanagement.
The 61-year-old Malagasy will occupy his position untill an appeal hearing on a yet to be announced date.
Before now the activities of CHAN 2020 has been in the hands of Constant Omari who is the Vice President of CAF.
