Day one for Group C games of the CHAN 2020 has been experienced at the Reunification Stadium in Douala Cameroon. Two matches were played, 5:00pm Morocco against Togo and 8:00pm, Rwanda faced Uganda.

The two games commemorated first day of play for group C in the on-going African Nations Championship CHAN 2020, played in Cameroon January 16 to February 7, 2021

During the first game pitting the Atlas Lions Morocco against Sparrowhawks of Togo, Togo suffered a 1#0 defeat from 2018 champions Morocco. A lone goal scored by Yahya Jabrane, 24 minutes into the first half through a penalty shot out.
