While some are already waiting for an opponent to accompany them during the quarter finals of the CHAN, others are tying their nuts strong for a battle and an eventual qualification to the next level.
Four teams who make up group B (DR Congo, Congo, Libya and Niger) will measure weights in today’s encounters looking for routes to sail through.
Congo will clash with Libya at 8:00pm at Japoma Stadium in Douala, Niger welcomes top place DR Congo in Yaounde’s Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium same time.

Congo vs Libya
Congo is considered as “underdogs” in group B. One point penned against her name in two games. 1#0 defeat from neighbours DR Congo on matchday one and 1#1 draw against Niger on day two. This could be an opportunity for coach Barthelemy Ngatsono and boys to make a change, grab all three points and stay optimistic for a possibility.
Libya with one point ahead of their opponent, may not want to stay behind as far as qualifiers is concerned. Coach Zoran Filipovic and boys have had two consecutive draws in the group stage games. 0#0 against Niger and 1-1 against DR Congo.
Goals has been very difficult to come by, by these clubs, an improvement in goalscoring tactics will be a plus to either sides

Niger vs DR Congo
The Mena’s of Niger will want to prove themselves and to showcase the importance of the four country Pre-CHAN tournament played in Cameroon when they take on group leader DR Congo. Niger currently holds third place in group B and two points. Coach Harouna Doula Gabde played a virgin tie with Libya and 1#1 battle with Congo Republic. It will be a difficult encounter facing first place on the table but determination could be of help.
Two times Champions of the CHAN DR Congo, is looking forward to clinch a third trophy. In this regard the encounter against Niger will only be an opportunity to secure more points. Coach Florent Ibenge with an utmost experience of the CHAN seeks to tackle Niger to secure a place for the quarter finals. DRC recorded her first victory over Congo Republic on matchday one and a clean draw against Libya.
Watch out for 8:00pm in Yaounde and Douala as qualifications are underway.
