Intermediate Lion’s central defender Banga Bindjeme has taken the CHAN competition at heart indicating he will do his best for the success of the Intermediate Lions against DR Congo.
Speaking in a press conference Friday January 29, 2021, the 25-year-old Cotonsports defender highlighted that the Douala encounter is a competition not a preparatory as was the case against UMS of Loum in their last stop over.
The Intermediate Lions during a stop over in Douala in preparation for the African Nations Championship CHAN 2020, suffered a 1#0 defeat from Cameroon Elite One side UMS of Loum.
“Our visit to Douala the last time was for prepation and now it is for the competition which is different from preparation. We are going to do our best for this competitiong.” Banga Bindjeme
Intermediate Lions of Cameroon will face DR Congo Saturday January 30, 2021. The game will be played at the Japoma Stadium at 8:00pm.
After qualifying to the Quarter Finals level of CHAN 2020, played in Cameroon, the lions will be seeking for a ticket to the semi-finals against the Leopards of DR Congo.
