Newly promoted English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion have announced the signing of Ivorian defender Cédric Kipre from Wigan Athletic.
The 23-year-old central defender signed a four-year contract with WBA from Wigan Athletic and will be tied to coach Slaven Bilic’s team till 2024.
Kipre came through the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain from 2008-2014 before signing for Leicester City where he failed to make a single league appearance.
A loan spell to Corby Town followed before a move to Motherwell in Scotland for the 2017-2018 season.
He joint Wigan in 2018 and made 74 league appearances for the Latics, scoring two goals.
Last season, the native of Paris, France, made 36 league appearances, scoring two goals in the English second tier.
He is an Ivorian U-23 international.
