Nigeria’s sole representative at the 2021 Women’s Club African Championship in
Kelibia, Tunisia, Customs Service lost their bronze medal match this Friday.
The Customs couldn’t contain the Prisons of Kenya who defeated them in straight sets.
In the first set, the Customs were conquered with a 7 points margin at a score line of 25-18.
The Customs gave a better performance in the second segment of the tie, but still fell by 25-20 points.
It was all but over for the Nigerian team at the third phase losing 25-14 and ending their chance of an automatic qualification for the next edition.
The team therefore finished fourth while the Prisons emerge third at the 2021 Women’s Club African Championship and automatically qualify for the next edition of the tournament.
