Cameroon Elite One strugglers Racing of Bafoussam have secured the services of experienced trainer Casimir Mangue for the rest of the season.
Club sources have confirmed the arrival of the former OFTA and TKC head trainer.
The Club is yet to announce the changes but kick442.com has gathered that Mangue will replace Bernard Fotso who was suspended last month while the staff that took charge of the team during the games after Bernard’s suspension have been relieved of their duty.
Mangue will bring a completely new staff charged with the responsibility of turning things around at the TPO.
“They have been given the games against TKC and Canon as an audition. If the get the right results they will keep the job long-term but otherwise will necessitate another change,” a club source that pleaded anonymous told kick442.com.
Racing FC suffered their sixth defeat of the season on Saturday in the hands of Stade Renard of Melong.
The latest result leaves the club on the 12th spot among 13 clubs in Pool A of the championship midway into the season.
Racing in their return to the topflight championship for the first time since 2017 look destined to be relegated immediately except Mangue and co can pull a miracle against Canon, TKC and the rest of the season.
Memgue met the players this Monday and immediately got to work ahead of their first task hoping to add to Racing’s six points from ten games this season.
