At 12:30pm Cameroon time at the MKAPA Stadium in Tanzania, Cameroon Special Lions will clash with Morocco in a very crucial and decisive classification battle. Kick442.com has learnt that there is a possibility for progress for a winner of this game.
Morocco looks better placed than Cameroon looking at the records from the group stage to the quarter-final.
Cameroon has not had a good run in the competition. They were able to pickup just a single win which was against Gambia 3#2 on match day one. Subsequently, they bowed to Liberia 3#1 to emerge as runners up in Group C. During the quarter finals, coach Donald and boys were slapped to the face by host nation Tanzania 5#0, killing their hopes of playing the semi-final.
Morocco graduated to the quarter-final as runners up in group A with six points. They lost just a game against Tanzania 2#1 in three played during the group stages. They beat Sierra Leone 3#0 and Uganda 3#1 book six points. Their run was shortened by Liberia in the Quarter-final knocking them out 2#1.
The battle against Cameroon will prove who’s better off since both went to the knockouts as runners up.
