According to inside sources, the Cameroon Amputee Football CAMPUTEE will be organizing its first ever competition (CANAFL) since it’s creation in January 2019.
The competition expected take place in the various regions and finals in the country’s political capital Yaounde from the month of October 2020 to April/May 202. This will involve eight Clubs that make up the Association and authorization has been given by African Amputee Football Federation (AAFF).
In addition, a first national championship is in view with each region to be represented by two clubs. A final planning on the hosting of the league will be held within the week to conclude.
Being a young association with finances possing as a thread the competition will alternate in the various regions. The teams will face one another four times like the case of the Scottish league.
In the first week of the competition which will be played in the nations political capital, players will be camped.
The second and third rounds of the league will be played in the various regions wherein clubs will have to face each other on home and away basis.
The final stage of the competition will take place in Yaoundé. After the final match all trophies and top goal scorers, best players and other prizes will be given to players to encourage and boosting their morals.
CAMPUTEE has a total of 8 teams in four regions which are;
Terminators AFC and Forca AFC in the Center region.
Doves AFC and ADDP in Littoral region
Kumba AFC and Nkamayi AFC in the South West region.
Bafoussam AFC and Defiers AFC in North West region.
