The President of Cameroon Amputee Football CAMPUTEE Ngala Maimo Wajiri has tabled his resignation letter as head of the association.
President Ngalla took to his official Facebook page, announcing his resignation this Thursday February 4, 2021.
“It’s with a heavy heart and a face full of smiles that I announce my RESIGNATION AS PRESIDENT OF CAMEROON AMPUTEE FOOTBALL. Thursday 4th February 2021” Ngalla Maimo wrote on his Facebook official page.
Though he has resigned from the baby Association, the young ambitious gentlemen with so much passion and love for persons with disabilities has pledged his support and remains a great fan of CAMPUTEE.
“Even after my resignation, I will still be a great fan of Amputee Football in Cameroon willing to offer my advice and opinion when needed.”
Ngala Maimo Wajiri has been the President of the Association since its first sitting on January 16, 2019. Under his reign, he as been able to achieve National, African and world recognition of Cameroon Amputee Football CAMPUTEE, The participation at the 2019 edition of the African Amputee Football Cup where Cameroon backed home as Holder of the African Fair play award.
President Ngala successfully organized the launching of the National League with the existence of more than 5 clubs in four regions. There is also the existence of the Female Amputee Football team, there has been a significant growth from five amputees to more than 120, Partnership with multiple organizations and stakeholders and many more.
He leaves at a time where the National League CANFL 2020, is still pending and yet to resume.
