CAMPUTEE launches 'new baby', President speaks

Cameroon Amputee Football Association [CAMPUTEE] has launched a new club in the country’s political capital Yaounde.

Terminators Amputee Football Club being the name of the ‘new baby’ was launched in Etoug-ebe in Yaounde on Sunday July 12, 2020.

Terminators FC has a total of nine players.

Usman Mustafa President of Terminators FC, during the installation hinted some difficulties encountered by the club.

“As a young club, the challenges we are facing is building a strong squad that will be able to compete nationally and internationally.”

“The training of my players have been at individual levels, finance, training equipments, balls, a pitch are all difficulties faced by the club.” he added.

Despite the challenges, the club aims at giving players the best and enhancing their skills.

“We are looking forward to play as many friendly matches as possible before the league starts so as to get our players ready. We are also trying to establish training facilities for the players available to enhance their skills.” President Mustafa opines.

He ended by saying, “We hope in the days ahead, donors and sponsors will come in to accompany this club to its goal and amputees in the country.”

The creation of this clubs takes the number of clubs in the country to seven, in five regions of the country (North West, South West, Littoral, Center and West regions).
