Indomitable of Lions Cameroon and Royal Antwerp striker Didier Lamkel Ze scored one as his side recorded a 3-2 victory away at Club Genk on Saturday.
Forward Ze and compatriot Martin Hongla started the game for Antwerp, with the latter operating from the middle of the park.
The striker scored his side’s first goal in the 67th minute of the game as Antwerp looked bent to overturn a 2-0 deficit.
The thrilling encounter saw in-form Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu open scores in the 22nd minute and made it 2-0 when he perfectly dispatched a 62nd minute penalty.
The game stayed on the 2-0 score till 67th minute when Lamkel Ze pulled one back.
Multiple incursions from the host were stopped by the vigilant Genk backline.
Antwerp finally found a way of winning the game when Dieumerci Mbokani and Dylan Batubinsika scored in the 90th and 91st minutes off two assists from Ivan Refaelov to make it 3-2.
Antwerp cruise to another win as the game headed towards full-time leading by the odd goal in five.
The game ended on a 3-2 score for host Antwerp who are 23 points off the leaders who boast of 73 points.
Ze and Hongla played the entire game for second-placed Antwerp.
24-year old Ze has scored seven goals and assisted four in 18 games this season. In all he scored eight goals and provided four assist in 20 games this season.
His form earned him the Jupiler Pro player of the month award in March.
Antwerp have qualified for the preliminary rounds of 2021-2022 UEFA champions league.
