Cameroon forward Didier Lamkel Ze is heavily linked with a switch to Greek side Panathinaikos from Belgian Jupiler Pro League outfit FC Royal Antwerp.
The forward has been tagged surplus to requirement by coach Ivan Leko since the start of the current season partly because of his attitude towards the trainer.
Reports in the transfer rumor mill currently have the great Greek side as his possible destination with some sources reporting that talks are underway between the player and the Club.
Ze is obviously a fine footballer on the pitch but his problems have come off the pitch degenerating to the extent that he doesn’t speak with his head coach at Ivan Leko.
The 24-year-old native of Bertoua has made five appearances for Antwerp’s first team this season.
He joined the Club in 2018 from Niort on a five-year deal active till the summer of 2023.
It is unclear if Panathinaikos are out for full purchase or a loan.
