Lethal Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar scored two of his side’s goals in a 4-3 win at home to Fenerbahce in their match-day ten fixture.
The striker came into the fixture on a run of scoring in four consecutive games for Club and country. It took just four minutes for the forward to extend that run with a fine strike off an assist from Cyle Larin.
It will soon be two for Besiktas and Aboubakar who was assisted by Rachid Ghezzal for the second goal.
Papiss Demba Cisse halfed the deficit 11 minutes away from the break but the best part of the game was yet to come.
Vincent Aboubakar’s Besiktas took the 2-1 lead to the break.
Five minutes into the second segment Cyle Larin but that did not distabilize Besiktas.
Eight minutes after the interval Necip Uysal restored Besiktas’ two goals cushion with the third for visiting Besiktas.
Ozan Tufan made it 3-2 with his first of two goals in the 68th minute.
George Kevin N’Koudou was introduced in the 71st minute in place of Bernard Mensah.
The Cameroon-eligible substitute assisted fellow substitute Fabrice N’Sakala to score Besiktas fourth of the afternoon.
A late goal from Ozan Tufan completed his brace and made it 4-3 but the 97th minute strike was the last action of the game that ended in favor of Aboubakar’s Besiktas.
The forward has replaced in the 92nd minute.
Aboubakar has now scored four goals in seven appearances for 4th-placed Besiktas who host Kasimpasa this weekend.
