Potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon goalkeeper Simon Ngapandouetnbu has tested positive for the Corona Virus per reports from France gathered from AllezLesLions.net this Tuesday.
The 17-year-old Olympique of Marseille goalkeeper is an integral part of the Club’s first team whose Ligue 1 game of last weekend was called off due to cases of the virus.
It appears Simon is one of these cases and has since been placed in isolation.
He becomes, the fifth Cameroon footballer to contract the virus.
Njie Clinton Mua of Dynamo Moscow, Christian Bassogog of Henan Jianye, Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford, free agent Jacques Zoua and Aurélien Chedjou Nfongang have previously returned a positive result for the virus.
Ngapandouetnbu, the native is uncapped at all categories for Cameroon but remains an attraction for all and sundry in the Central African nation noted for its ability to produce good goalkeepers.
