French Women’s second tier side ASJ Soyaux have announced the release of their 18-year old Cameroonian defender Mireille Tchengang following the termination of her contract.
The Cameroon international spent just four months on the books of the club and struggled for game time.
The defender had joined up on a two-year year deal but unfortunately she can’t go all the way.
Mireille was a part of the Cameroon team that participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics qualifiers. Though she was invited for the final tie against Zambia but was unused.
The Lioness who holds a French passport has to look for fresh opportunities elsewhere.
Noted for her speed, versatility, good passing range among other characteristics, Mireille is expected to hit the ground running at her new club.
Soyaux narrow avoided relegation last term and will go into the current season hoping to do better.
