Last season’s Cameroon Women’s League deputy scorer Tabe Brenda is off the mark for the 2020-2021 season.
The teenage sensation on the books of Awa Filles scored one of five goals as her side eased pass ASFF Diamare by 5-0 on Monday.
The youth international for Cameroon’s under-17 girls scored her side’s third goal of the Matchday two fixture off an assist from Farida Machia who was unplayable in the afternoon.
It is nearly certain to be the first of many as Brenda scored 18 goals in her debut campaign for Awa Filles last season.
She finished that campaign as her Club’s deputy scorer having missed a good number of games due to her commitments with the national selection.
Usual scorers in the women’s league, Kelvine Ossol, Farida Machia, Ronaldinho Nguimbous and midfield genius Tantoh Melvis were all in target.
Awa won the game by five goals to nil making it two wins in two outings this term.
The 2019-2020 vice champions of Cameroon have unbeaten Eclair as the next on their plate with memories of last season still new.
