Cameroon’s rising football talent Barel Tueto Fotso has scored on his debut for Dynamo Zagreb as his side crushed visiting NK BSK Bijelo Brdo 3-0 on match day one of the Croatian First Division League-Prva HNL.
The 17-year-old sensation who joined the Dynamo Zagreb on a five-year deal from AS Roma in March, scored the opener for his side 14 minutes into the game and became the first player on the score sheet for Zagreb this season and eventually the first in the league.His teamate and 19-year-old Antonio Marin netted a brace to seal the win for the host.
Barely five months since his arrival at the Club, Barel Tueto Fotso has is already creating an impact in the Crotian top-flight championship.He had established himself as a regular goal scorer with the various youth categories of AS Roma but his breakthrough campaigns in Italy did not secure him a spot in the first team.
Dynamo Zagreb face NK Lokomotiva in their next fixture. The Blues tally 21 Croatian First League titles which is the highest in Croatian football.
The have won the league since 2005 and their winning start this season is obvoius they are poised to set a new record.
Born in Douala in 2002, Barel Fotso featured for Cameroon and scored in an in international friendly with the Under-17 Lions. The highly-rated potential Indomitable Lion is also eligible to play for Italy.
Earlier this year Kick442.com named him in Cameroon’s star-studded foreign-based Under-20 footballers squad.
