The French Football Federation (FFF) have announced they have reached an agreement with its Cameroon counterpart which will enable their women’s national team grind ashes in a high profile warm up game next month in France.
Saturday, June 25 at the Pierre Bison de Beavis stadium, Coach Gabriel Zabo and his trops will confront the French national selection in a clash to enhance France’s preparation for the upcoming Euro 2020 while Cameroon shape skills for their AWCON 2022 campaign which will begin nine days later against Zambia in Casablanca.
The meeting will be the first between both nations will be the first since the Lionnesses suffered a 6-0 dropping in the hands of Dries Mbock and mates in the build up to the 2019 FIFA World Cup on home soil.
The game is one of a number of matches Cameroon has lined up ahead of the 2022 AFCON tournament penciled for June-July 2022 across three cities in Morocco.
The indomitable lionesses of Cameroon will be in their 13th appearance, when the tournament kicks off in Morocco from 2 to 23 July 2022.
Cameroon has been drawn in group B of the competition, alongside Zambia, Togo and Tunisia. The lionesses have been runners up on four different occasions, and will be looking to do better in Morocco.
