Cameroon National Football Selections Are Closing In On A New Kits Sponsor

Adidas

Multiple reports say the German based sports clothing company is in talks with FECAFOOT offficials w to take over sponsorship, after the contract between Puma and FECAFOOT came to an end, and there would be no extension of contact. Adidas is coming in with a huge 1.6 Billion proposal, 460 million more than what Puma offered the federation.

Puma started her romance with Cameroon, way back in 1997 to take care of men’s A, B, u21, u19, youth and futsal national teams, same with the female category, and sponsored Cameroon to 1 Olympic gold medal and 3 AFCON titles.

Puma owned most of the African continent with some of the big names, inclusive; Angola, Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal, Togo and Ivory Coast, are all taken care of by Puma_this is the reason why Adidas (known as the biggest sports brand) are trying to get some grounds to add to ; Algeria, Burundi, Egypt, CAR, Chad, Congo, Gabon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan and Eswatini.

If the deal is finalized then it would be a second African giant joining the Adidas brand, after Egypt did the switch not so long ago.

Sports accessories and equipments is now a big part in the game, as prominent industries :(Nike, Adidas and Puma), have invested a lot, and they all scramble for players, teams, clubs, and no one wants to be left behind, with new kit models, and boots are designed on daily basis.
