The Cameroon delegation in Mozambique underwent two Covid-19 testing exercise in Maputo-Mozambique this Sunday ahead of their match-day four 2021 African cup of nations qualifiers fixture against the Mambas of Mozambique.
Doctors of the Mozambican health Ministry made a stop in the Lions den early on Sunday to test for the virus.
As part of their commitment to ensure the safety of the Lions, the Cameroon team in Mozambique led by* FECAFOOT vice president Aboubakar Alim Konate had a second examination administered by officials of the Lenmed hospital. The second test targeted the 23 players of the squad and the team’s direct staff.
This comes barely 24 hours after the full squad tested negative for the virus before leaving Cameroon via a chartered flight reserved for the members of the delegation to Mozambique.
Just like the Lions, the mambas of Mozambique and match officials had a test ahead of Monday’s match-day clash.
The results of the tests are expected to be released before match time of 5pm on Monday.
