Stade Renard of Melong will go into this Sunday clash against regional foes Union Sportive of Douala in an ever interesting Littoral derby.

This Sunday’s encounter will be the first Stade Renard is hosting out of Melong.

The boys of coach Ebwelle Bertin remain unbeaten at home before this weekend but face to face a Union Sportive of Douala side that can’t be proud of their points tally the on the road this term.

Union Sportive of Douala come into the clash with full confidence following an impressive 2-1 home win against APEJES midweek while Stade Renard is on a run of 2 games without defeat with the latest being a virgin draw against Panthère on Wednesday in Bafoussam.

Union Sportive are still looking for their first win in this fixtures while Stade Renard of Melong have recorded wins in four of the previous six meetings.

The meeting of captains Nkuissi Thomas Legrand of Stade Renard and Nlend Samuel of Union Sportive of Douala is going to be one of the points of attraction in this game.

Nlend is this season’s top scorer in the league but he is still looking for his first goal against Stade Renard.

It promises to be a great tactical battle between coach Daniel Walindjom of Union and coach Ebwelle Bertin of Stade Renard.

The CENAJES stadium in Dschang is the stage for this event, it will attract more Renard fans than the that of visiting Union but the game just like any other football game will be decided on the pitch.
