Title holders, Cotonsport of Garoua have won their first away match of the season during day one of the national playoffs ,what could led them towards retaining their title as champions of Cameroon.
The Garoua based outfit were arguably the better side over Feutcheu FC of Bandjoun in Yaounde who had gone one man down in the midst of downpour which led the game suspended for a while.
On Sunday, UMS edged Dragon of Yaounde 1-0 while APEJES Mfou and Renard separated 1-1.
Judging by the score line for all three matches, it is obvious the title race to determine Cameroon’s 2019 Champion promises to be interesting with Cotonsport aiming for back to back title after 2018.
Cotonsport Of Garoua are also hoping to get double exploit in 2019 as they aim to win the league title and the cup of Cameroon.
