Yong Sport Academy rising star, Frankline Tangiri Yusinyu scored his first top flight goal in his career against Coton Sport although the record-making day for the teenage forward was ruined by their 6-1 demolition in Garoua.
He is in his first spell in Cameroon’s top flight league.
The 17-year-old youngstar headed home from a 50 minute cross to score a consolatory goal as the Bamenda outfit were thrashed after an uninspiring and lifeless show.
Frankline joined Yong Sport Academy from amateur side Cinyodev FA of Buea where he was hailed as an extraordinary player.
The potent finisher was a regular top scorer for his boyhood club finishing deputy goal scorer at 15. He strived to reach double figures in the South West League since 2017 as has been tipped as an asset for the League one side.
His pace, ball control and dribbling skills is an offensive boost for his new employers and his finishes sometimes outrageous leaves most defenders panick striken.
“I want to write my name in the history books of the Cameroon Premier League. I also want help my team qualify for a continental competition.
“I joint Yong Sports Academy because it’s a great team and I like their project. Above all I am a native from Northwest Region and representing a team in my region is an honour for me”; the striker stated to Kick442.com after he signed his first professional contract this year.
With such objectives set, the promising forward is no doubt poised for a promising league debut.
