Barely 7 games into the New Season, Renaissance of Ngoumou have mutually agreed to end their working relationship with head coach Anicet Stephane Koung.

Speaking to on Sunday evening “we have parted company, when a club does not get the desired results it is only normal for the coach to walk away”

Coach Anicet Stephane Koung replaced Michel George Ndongo in February this year and guided Renaissance to the promotion play offs in the league 2 championship but the beginning of this season has been a very difficult one for the club.

Seven games into the new season, Renaissance of Ngoumou is winless and in the relegation zone with just two goals scored so far.

His last game as Coach of the club was on Saturday wherein Renaissance came from behind to pick a point in a 1 all draw against Stade Bertoua on Saturday in Yaounde.

The club is yet name a replacement for the gaffer.
