Cameroon’s most titled club,Coton Sport of Garoua have officially presented Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso as the new head coach after the departure of Bertin Ebwelle this month.
Ndoumbe Bosso took command in a ceremony, Thursday 28th 2019, in the presence of the Governor of the North region , the president of Coton sport of Garoua Dadou Fernand ,the management of the club among others.
The former Yong Sport Academy manager has been task to live up to the goals of the club whose principal aims center around winning the countries championship,the Cup of Cameroon and going further as much as possible at the continental scene.
The 58 year old tactician took over from Bertin Ebwelle who parted ways with the club after running down his contract.
His immediate task is to ensure Coton Sport of Garoua retain their championship trophy this season while norturing hopes for an error-free continental spell next season.
The Coton Weavers are currently first of group A with 15points. They have scored more goals this season than any other club and have kept a 100% record at home.
Ndoumbe Bosso watched from the stands as the 11 time champions of Cameroon came from behind to beat Avion Academy of Nkam 2-1 during their last game soon after his appointment.
He takes over a team that has dominated local football since 1996 and has promised to take the club to higher heights.
“I will continue working with those who are here. It is not easy to be at the helm of a team like coton sport of Garoua. I will continue working with the players with the little experience I have”
Bosso spent over half a decade at YOSA and was Cameroon cup champion with the club in 2013.
He has proven to be a coach par excellence in Cameron’s top tier championship and a good choice for Coton Sport of Garoua,club officials have disclosed.
“He has trained many clubs in Cameroon and out of the country. His arrival can change the moral of players and that of everyone who supports the club. I think his arrival is very good for the club” President Sadou Fernand disclosed.
The new occupant of the Roumde-Adjia stadium, cemetery of elite clubs signed a year contract with Coton Sport of Garoua.
