9 matches of the Cameroon League 1 championship were played this Wednesday in grounds across the country.

Flying Avion Nkam once again earned all 3 points at home as Jules Kooh scored the lone goal against struggling Fovu of Baham.
Goalkeeper Nzong Gabriel of Avion kept his fourth clean sheet in his last 5 games.

PWD of Bamenda extended their unbeaten run to four games, Boyomo Leon scored the lone goal give the Abakwa boys all three points and make it two defeats in a spin for Union Sportive of Douala.

Still in Bamenda YOSA raced into a 2 nil lead in the second game at the Yong Francis Arena. Goals from Tongua Emmanuel Regis and Kayak Yannick gave YOSA a 2 nil lead within 20 minutes of kick off but Bertin Essama pulled one back just before half time and doubled his tally late into the second half as YOSA sacrificed the lead. Therefore Panthère came from behind to rescue a point with their goalkeeper Anye Derick Fru saving a penalty in the game.

Goals from Auguste Moudoungo from the penalty spot, Alfred Meyong and former Avion midfielder Roger Temga gave Stade Renard of Melong three points in a 3-1 with Colombe’s lone goal scored by midfielder Kevin Nzokou.

18-year-old Brasseries Academy Graduate Robert Mathieu Ndigui scored a wonder-goal to stop Canon’s run of 2 consecutive wins and also earn a first win in four for APEJES of Mfou.

In-form captain Gael Gregoire Nkama scored for the second consecutive game to help TKC beat Eding Sport de la Lakie by 1 goal to nil in the early kick-off and extend TKC’s winning run to 9 games this season.

In Buea Oumarou Abdouraman headed home Feutcheu’s lone goal midway into the second half as the good travelers recorded a 1 nil win against defending champions UMS of Loum.

Dragon ended their 3 games winless run thanks to goals from Bin Adolf Nkembe Enow and Bongo Ewange. They came from behind to beat relegation threatened AS Fortuna by 2 goals to 1.

Despite having a game in hand Cotonsport of Garoua still lead with 18 points from 10 games ahead of their home clash against struggling Bamboutos FC in Garoua on Thursday.

They are tied on 18 points with unstoppable Avion Nkam who picked up a 1 nil home win in Day 11, In-form TKC completes the the top 3 with 17 points.

In the bottom half of the table, Fovu’s woes seem to be endless as they were once again beaten as they slide in the the bottom of the table in the last but one spot just 3 points better than bottom side AS Fortuna who have won just once this season.

YOSA caps the bottom 3 with 12 points from 11 games.
