Coach Njoku Barnabas’ Feutcheu FC side looks good and comfortable.

Stade Renard remains winless in 6:

Stade Renard of Melong opened scores in the second segment through Alfred Meyong who broke the deadlock following waves of fruitless attacks from both sides.

In-form Leon Boyomo made sure PWD got something from the game as he equalized in the 73th minutes to keep the final score at 1-all.

PWD ends the first round on the 2nd spot with just 1 defeat in their last 11 games.

Colombe Dja kept their brilliant goal scoring form;

The game interval between the 75th and the 80th minute, was the moment of truth, as Colombe fired home three goals in quick succession.

First Arnold Boris Mezui’s 75th minute penalty send goalkeeper Djaoyang James Bienvenu the wrong way to put Colombe in front. Before Canon could recover from that blow, Former Cotonsport forward Francis Elimbi skipped past Ngede Ngede Junior and goalkeeper Djaoyang Bienvenu was again helpless.

The energy was immense and the pace was blistering, as Yves Rostand Mengue poked home superbly at the 80th minute, to put Colombe three goals. Colombe virtually got the job done and dusted in the space of five minutes, but had to hold their nerves till the end of the game.

Canon’s late fight back was not enough to salvage them a point. Julius Atengong’s superb save at the 82nd minute had no defender to clear the ball out of danger as Oumara Khadtab slotted home, to pull one back for Canon.

Former Lion Blessé forward, Patrick Anaba Metogo gave Canon hopes at the 92nd.

Lucky Cotonsport dropped points in Garoua

Cotonsport of Garoua were outclassed and had to come from behind to rescue a point after APEJES opened scores in the 61st minutes through former Cotonsport man Djoubairou Félix.

It took 16 minutes for former APEJES Martial Bayegue to equalize and rescue a point for the leaders who end the first round of the championship with 35 points points from 17 games.

Avion Academy got a vital home win:

Eding Sport de la Lakie dominated the entire game but Avion Academy took their last minute chance to score the lone goal and get all three points on the day.
