Club sources have told kick442.com that Cameroon League One side Feutcheu FC of Djiko still have Richard Towa as their head coach despite reports in the media that the gaffer has been fired. He was appointed head coach of the club barely 6 months ago but he has found it difficult to get satisfactory results this season. The club came from behind to rescue a point against Fovu over the weekend
The club is currently on a run of 1 win in 7 games since the beginning of the new season occupying the 7th spot out of 9 teams in pool B though.Though they are just 3 points adrift of second-placed Astres sources say the club’s boss is not happy with the entire technical bench.
Coach Towa and his technical team are all under huge pressure but Towa remains at the helm of the club,he managed training on Monday evening and has another appointment with his players this Tuesday morning.
Coach Towa was appointed coach of the club on the 17th of September 2018 but he can be counted amongst the longest serving coach in the club’s time in top flight football given pressident Joseph Feutcheu’s style of firing coaches.
