Fovu of Baham surprisingly didn’t panic before the champions, Pafong Eric scored early in the second half to help the West Region side beat UMS by 1 goal to nil in a very tight encounter played on Saturday in Bafoussam. It is the second game in a row with a Pafong goal for three points.

Feutcheu FC of Djiko returned to winning ways with a one nil home win thanks to a first half goal from Djacba Junior.

Cotonsport of Garoua recorded a 2-1 win away against AS Fortuna. Goals from Kamilou Daouda and Youssoufa Maikano in the first half helped Cotonsport to keep their lead despite conceding from a penalty converted by Thierry Akono of AS Fortuna. The win opens opens a 5 points gap at the top of the chart for the boys of coach Ndoumbe Bosso while Simplice Njiki’s Fortuna’s side seem to have exhausted their time in this division as they can’t win in 10 games now.

A brace from Leon Boyomo and a goal from Mondi Kagawa helped PWD of Bamenda calmly solved the Avion equation beating them 3 nil in Bamenda to move to the second spot with 22 points.
