Cameroon League one side,Colombe Dja FC have announced that they have suspended head coach Albert Charlemagne Mbongo and Goalkeeper coach Paulin Bansena for 3 months without stating the reason for their decision.
A release from the club’s communication unit handed to kick442.com on Tuesday indicated that the the board chair of Colombe Andre Noel Essian has told Coach Mbongo and his assistant in charge of goalkeepers, they will not be directly involved in the activities of the club for the next 3 months. Sylvanos Nguekep,Jules Ndeme will assume the responsibilities of head coach of the club and goalkeeper coach respectively.Jules Ndeme and Valentine Tsogo Mengue will equally join the new technical staff.
Coach Charlemagne joined Colombe in May 2018 and masterminded a run that took Colombe from the 17th to the 14th spot in the league.
Before this decision, there were signs that the working relationship between the coach and the bosses of the club was no longer the best.

Some days back the club’s Board Chair openly told members of the technical staff in a public meeting that they must select players on the base of performance and nothing else.In addition, the coach was in the field last Sunday but wasn’t in charge of the team. Colombe welcome TKC this weekend at home in Nkoovos with hopes to get their first win at home this season.
Colombe currently occupies the 7th spot on the log with 9 points and must now start life without Mbongo and co but kick442.com understands the coach been dismissed indirectly and not only because of results.

Its a very strange scenario in Cameroon Football. Suspending the coach for 3 months from March 12 simply mean he will return from suspension on the 12th of June and that will be after the end of the current league campaign that runs till May.
