Bamboutos Football Club shared the spoils with Feutcheu FC on one of the match day 15 fixtures played on Sunday at the Limbe Centenary Stadium.

Bamboutos attacked from the onset, having lost their match day 14 fixture to Yong Sport Academy by a massive 1-3 scoreline.

The first chance in the opening minutes of the game fell to Mark O’Ojong who was played out of position, but his out stretched left foot could not connect with Hansi Mbappe Muller’s inviting ball.

The next chance of the game came at the 12th minute to Jacques Ebene of Feutcheu FC but the club’s highest goal scorer whipped his shot wide.

Feutcheu FC was looking to crank up a certain pressure of their own but over youthfulness perhaps caught up with Junior Garhadne who hurried his 22nd minute shot into the hands of goalkeeper Herman Talla.

Mbappe Muller went down on the edge of the box from Alim Daouda’s tackle which caused a huge penalty appeal roar but the referee and his assistants settled for a free kick.

Bamboutos looked to be doing all the playing with Feutcheu FC – was chasing shadows but, Feutcheu looked the more threatening on the break and only a desperate acrobatic clearance by Ngombe Etame stopped a lurking danger from Feutcheu FC before the 45th minute mark.

Eric Sadjo was impeccable for chunks of the encounter and showed his class in the second half, almost singlehandedly keeping the game at zero-all.

Rene Ndi had been causing a lot of issues from that creative midfield role but his 50th minute volley hit the wrong side of the net.

Mbappe Muller was assisting from the wings in most parts of the second half and one of his crosses found Alain Guimgo whose weak try was sucked in the palm of Sadjo at the hour mark.

Bamboutos dominated possession and all that remained was that illusive goal. Left back Jacques Bayem’s cross found second half substitute Aime Mangolo who side footed it wide.

The last chance and possibly the best for Bamboutos FC fell for Rostand Kako at the 90th minute as he was teed up by Aime Mangolo but he couldn’t direct his on header goal.

Bamboutos FC moves a spot ahead to (4) on the table with 20 points with a share of the spoils and Feutcheu FC continue the mid table battle with 19 points.
