YOSA coach Nkabyo Martin has called the fans to support the project instead of throwing jabs at the team in difficult times.

Coach Martin watched his boys suffer a 3-2 defeat in the hands of fellow strugglers Avion on Sunday 17.

It was a “seesaw” game with Avion taking the early lead at the 6th minute courtesy Gael Bekolo’s slide goal. YOSA came back powerfully towards the end of the first half and made good use of it with Sidiki Abubakar equalising.

Ngalle Roland fired YOSA into the lead, 54 minutes in the game before successive goals from Avion from Jules Kooh and left back Temb Ndjouck sealed the deal at the 90th minute.

Post match communion with Martin Nkabyo

“We tried putting pressure and scored the second goal, but we couldn’t keep the scoreline and lost at the last minute. The team is very young, we are making mistakes.”

We will see how to correct them as we play but this is a big disappointment for us. We started the first half timidly but grew into the game. The mistakes we committed cost us big time. The championship is still long.”

“Three games without a win should be disturbing but like I said, this is a young side and we are going to continue working. It is important we try to stop the negative spiral. It is a task we will eventually carry out during the next game. We are going to try to stop the bleeding,” he ended.

YOSA lost to PWD of Bamenda, picked up a draw against UMS and have now lost against Avion which leaves them languishing at the bottom half of the table.
