PWD Social club of Bamenda will this Wednesday April 3, 2019, host Union sportive of Douala in one of day 12 encounters of the league one championship. The encounter billed for the Yong sport Academy stadium in mile six Nkwen, will be Augustine Choupo’s first game in the dugouts, in the home of the Abakwa boys, since his appointment last week as coach of PWD. Ahead of Wednesday’s game, the Abakwa boy’s new gaffer has set his objectives of completing a double over two littoral sides this week.

Coach Augustine Choupo has held four training sessions with them team since replacing Jean Baptiste Toguem. After their last training session on Tuesday morning at the big Mankon field, before their blockbuster game against Union on Wednesday, Choupo emphasized that it is a must win game. He said “For now I have 50 percent satisfaction with the way the boys are playing. I’m confident that we must win Union here because if we want to attend our objectives, we need to win these two matches home, against Union and New stars”.

Augustine Choupo also expressed his satisfaction with the work rate of the players and insisted that his system of play in centered on keeping ball possession, collective recuperation, creating chances and breaking from the flanks. The gaffer also through more light on his decision to take up the challenging task at PWD. He said “if I decided to come here, it is because I watched the team in Yaoundé against Colombe. Apart from PWD, many other teams wanted my services, but I preferred to come here because I saw the quality in the team the challenge, I can do it”.
Union sportive of Douala comes into the game with 5 points and 5 places better than PWD. The Nassara Gamakia won the first leg 2#nil, with this Wednesday’s game expected to produce a lot of fireworks. Augustine Choupo’s teams have always caused problems to both Union and New stars. If the statistics are anything to go by, then the fans of the Abakwa boys have every reason to be optimistic. Last season, Coach Augustine Choupo and stade Renard beat Union and New stars by 4 goals to zero in two games. 3#nil in Limbe against Union and 1#nil in Melong against New stars.
