Apejes of Mfou forward and Cameroon international Joseph Vianney Apam is no where to be found after he went to Germany for tryouts.
According to his agent whose name we are yet to get, Joseph Apam is alleged to have left the hotel room he was offered upon his arrival in Germany.
“Even the club that took him to that side now have no idea of his whereabouts,” the agent could be heard lamenting in a trending voice note on Social media.
“The player was brought to that hotel by the club and the same persons went there later and could not find the player”. His manager said.
Reasons for the player’s actions are yet to be known but we understand he has a disagreement with his agent.
It should be recalled that the Apejes of Mfou player earned a call up to Cameroon’s senior team in June and was the lone goal scorer for the Home based Lions in their friendly game against the Senior counterparts.
Joseph was the only local player selected by Rigobert Song, for the second day of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers and he travelled with the Indomitable Lions to Dar Es Salam
The 23-year-old had quite an impressive season with his club and caught the attention of some European clubs which triggered this move to Germany.
He finished as third best scorer in the Cameroon League with 12 goals to his credit.
