The head coach of the under 17 Lions of Cameroon and 1990 World cup Quarter finalist Thomas Libih has told reporters in his post match reaction on Friday that Nsanzimfura Keddy is a talent that needs special attention in grooming for the future of Rwanda’s football.
Reacting to questions from reporters coach Libih an ex Cameroon who appeared at two world cups before retiring to start a career in coaching said on the evidence of what he saw at the Stade Regional de Kigali, the Young Kiyovu FC midfielder can go places if he is properly harnesses.
“He created a lot of problems for my team,his work rate is exceptional and I believe he needs just constant work to become great. Just like their goalkeeper,he really impressed me”. Libih told the media.
Hakizimana Adolphe kept goal for Rwanda and made multiple decisive saves in the game while Keddy won over 60% of his duels and on multiple occasion found pockets of space in the Cameroonian defense line with his inch perfect long range passes.
Cameroon beat host Rwanda by 3 goals to 1 in the game but many Rwandans who turn up to watch the game were not disappointed by their teams performance despite the result as coach Rwasamanzi Yves of Rwanda told the press.
The Pre- U17 AFCON invitational tournament organized by FERWAFA & BINEWA Sports Management continues on the first of April when AFCON bound Tanzania face 2003 Champions Cameroon.
