Etienne Eto’o Pineda, son of retired prolific Cameroon striker, Samuel Eto’o has returned to the national team.
Etienne Eto’o Pineda is one of eight players playing out of the country that has been called to join the other U-20 players in camp by coach Ousmanou Christophe.
Etienne Eto’o Pineda plays for Real Oviedo in Spain.
The U-20 lions are currently in camp ahead of the African Nations cup in that category.
Other players called to camp includes goalkeeper Wilfred Bedfian of La Berrichonne de Chateauroux, defenders Bryan Djile of AS St Etienne, Enzo Tchato of Montpelier, Joseph Atangana Mvondo of Reims, Midfielders Steve Mvoue of Toulouse and Felix Kekoh Ndifor of FC Admira Wacker and Eric Franck Embe of Adanaspor joining Etienne Eto’o Pineda as the two attackers.
Mauritania will host the CAF U-20 Nations cup and the draws will be conducted in Yaounde in the days ahead.
