PWD Social Football club of Bamenda will start their 2022 Cameroon cup campaign against third tier side AS Real of Bertoua. This following draw for the 32nd final, that were made on Friday afternoon at the FECAFOOT head office in Tsinga.
The Abakwa Boys are currently Cameroon cup holders after beating Astres of Douala in last year’s final on March 13, at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium. David Pagou’s side that finished third in Pool B of the MTN Elite one championship, and missed out of the Playoffs, will now face ambitious East Regional outfit, AS Real.
AS Real qualified for the 32nd final, after defeating Chamba FC in the preliminaries. AS Real is currently topping Pool B of the East Regional league, with 25 points.
Some Juicy fixtures are on schedule, with at least five all Elite pairings.
11 times winners Canon of Yaoundé, will face four time champions Tonnerre Kalara club, 2021 Finalist Astres of Douala, will face 2015 winners Union de Mouvement sportif de Loum.
2013 winners Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda, will take on Dragon of Yaoundé.
