As part of the Confederation of African Football, CAF’s recent drive to develop women’s football on the continent, the African football governing body has unveiled objectives of her marketing and promotion pillar for the development of women’s football in Africa.
The objectives for the marketing and promotion pillar include:
– Creating a strong and unifying Women’s football brand for Africa
– Creating dedicated commercial and communication strategies to leverage and market the new brand
– Developing and implementing a brand strategy that clearly distinguishes Women’s football, and
– Building and growing dedicated digital platforms to promote the game
CAF had earlier unveiled objectives for development, and competitions pillars of their strategic focus which is to serve as a roadmap to guide CAF’s stakeholders on important focus areas between 2020-2023 in terms of women’s football development.
